So ho good is this for the integrity of the wheel?
Hate to have it blow apart during a run.
Almost would be better to look for an aftermarket skinny.
Any reasonable ones out there?
Without paying $500 a piece
I ran my 3927# GTO on those wheels with trap speeds of 135+. They are sturdy. Several guys on here have run them on Vettes for years exceeding 130mph in the 1/4. No issues I have heard of, yet...and on this site if there is an issue, you can darn well be certain it's going to be brought to light.
You need a 4" adaptor...it's a huge thing. User TKR had a complete drag pack for sale, including the big spacers, you might want to PM him or send him an email to treed2006@gmail.com
If you have a Z51 package, you need a 2" adapter, if you have Grand Sport/Z06 brakes, you need the big honker. I can't remember who, but someone did a thread on them and had pictures of just how extreme it looked with them on. I thought it might have been FNBADAZ but I don't think that's who it was.
