Default Gto spares

I see more threads with people running these at the strip.

I have a 2011 Grand Sport and want to try these.

Is this something that slips on without modifing the brakes, or would I need to switch to a C5 setup?

If so, is there an aftermarket front skinny out there that would be cost comparable?

To run GTO spares on your car would require at least a 2.5" adapter to clear the brakes.

The CTS spares would have to have the centerbore machined to fit.

So ho good is this for the integrity of the wheel?
Hate to have it blow apart during a run.

Almost would be better to look for an aftermarket skinny.
Any reasonable ones out there?
Without paying $500 a piece

I ran my 3927# GTO on those wheels with trap speeds of 135+. They are sturdy. Several guys on here have run them on Vettes for years exceeding 130mph in the 1/4. No issues I have heard of, yet...and on this site if there is an issue, you can darn well be certain it's going to be brought to light.

I need to find a pair as well.

You need a 4" adaptor...it's a huge thing. User TKR had a complete drag pack for sale, including the big spacers, you might want to PM him or send him an email to treed2006@gmail.com

If you have a Z51 package, you need a 2" adapter, if you have Grand Sport/Z06 brakes, you need the big honker. I can't remember who, but someone did a thread on them and had pictures of just how extreme it looked with them on. I thought it might have been FNBADAZ but I don't think that's who it was.
