Default 102mm TB's

Who else makes a quality 102mm TB besides the mega-overpriced NW?

It is the last piece of the puzzle for my 102 conversion but $5-600 for a TB is just a little bit on the crazy side.

But, if nobody else makes one, then, oh well................

I have not even considered buying one from FAST since myself and thousands of others with F-bodies had TB's that would hang open (in the past).

I did a search and I saw a post about V-Max motorsports so I emailed the guy (Pete) and I got "I'm sorry, I can't help you".

What is that about? No explanation, no we don't make them, not even a thanks for considering us........ etc. etc.... Not sure what gives there?

I believe VMAX only does ported stock TB's. What size motor do you have with what type of build? I ask because a 102mm tb might not be needed for a smaller cube motor and probally wont show any noticable gains besides throttle response.

It's a Z06 with Black widow cam, LG LT's, X-pipe, Tune, etc.....

So, now I am upgrading the intake, TB and injectors.

Call Pete Incaudo, the owner of V-max Motorsports. He makes various size TB'S...not just ported stock ones. I run one of his on both my stroker motors. High quality units.

his cell is 813-469-4665. Tell him Bob Pittman sent you.

Thanks, I didn't see that line. I will call and try to find out what is going on. Very strange response for sure.

I talked to him at last years PRI show and he was making 90,92,95,100,105,110, & 115 mm TB's in cable and drive by wire. He had many of them on the table. Even his site www.v-max motorsports shows them on the site.

There apparently is 2 websites. I went to the first one also, wondering what the heck. Finally got the right one that has all the products and detail. I talked to Pete today, he is out of TB's and having a supply problem. He is not sure when they will get rolling again. He sent me to Comptech and they only had one left that Jeff is going to grab.

Pete did say that the Nick William TB's are also very-very good units. He has not seen any problem with them. He said to tell people to go there for now.
