A6 shift question

A6 shift question
For some reason suddenly my car doesn't shift as it used to. I went to the track to have some fun and when in drive, instead of shifting at around 6k as its programmed,(and always did), it was hitting the rev limiter. A log showed it going to 6800. When shifting manually it shifts fine and when in sport mode it also shifts ok. Sport is programmed a little higher than drive and I like the drive shift points better so I usually use that.
any ideas why it would suddenly start doing this?

Have done any recent tuning to the car? Do you have a copy of the tune and can you reflash your car?? Or have your tuner reflash.. This may help.. Also, w/ your power your probably looking at beefing up your tranny anyways as that is your weak link.. Give the guys at Century in Texas a call.. They are awesome A6 guys..
