Default Changing rear diff fluid

I'm changing the rear diff fluid in my 06 C6 z51.

I jacked up the car, drained out about 53 ounces of fluid and put in about the same until the fluid started draining out the fill whole. Guess I didn't get all the old fluid out, maybe car is not totally level. I'll double check.

is this OK?

I just jacked up the rear so it was level. It was a little off. Now it pretty much stopped dripping. Guess I'm good?

You should be good to go....When I changed mine 2 years back I didnt even jack it up I could crawl under ..This way it was straight and level when draining

I cheated and bought a lift for my garage to make it simpler, but you should be OK.

Did you put the aditive in for the clutches?

Thanks

I put in Corvette differential is Dextron LS Gear Oil 75W-90, part #88862624 the article suggested. Looks like it doesn't need any additive.

You are fine. The diff is fill to spill, meaning you keep putting fluid in til it drips out of the fill hole.
