Stock X-pipe, is it worth replacing?

Hey guys, I'm building a custom exhaust for a C5, and I've got a stock C6 x-pipe laying here. I should be able to make it fit, but I'm wondering how large the crossover is? Are you guys replacing your x-pipes with something better?

Given you can make it fit, it would help to know what other mods you have and are planning on adding to determine if the stock C6 X pipe is sufficient.

Sorry I should have given more info. It's a track only car, (road course) no other engine mods. Just going to take out the cats, add the x pipe, and run straight pipes. While I'm at it I'll probably make a thicker tunnel plate as well. Headers etc are stock for now.

Unless it's an aftermarket 3" unit or off a C6Z... I wouldn't bother with it. The stock C6 pipes are pretty small... and in my opinion, were put on the car specifically to reduce power.
