Default Need help with Tire Size issue

thanks for any help

I have Michelin Pilots ps2's 325/25/20's on the rear. I am very happy with these tire. However I need new tires and I cant find anyone with the Mich's. Several internet sites say they have them (I've ordered twice) only to get an "currently out of stock" email later.
My question, I see several vipers and vette on the net running the Nitto inv 345/25/20. Will this fit in place of my 325/25/20? and are these good tires, I drive it like i stole it.

I have 275/30/19's up front

Nitto Invos are terrible in comparison and are junk for traction.

Look for the Pilot Super Sport which replaced the PS2. It's supposed to be a better performing tire but still get better tread wear.

Really? Have you run the Invo's? I ask because (1) I have a set of Invo's in 275/345 going on my ride, and (2) I've read a ton of posts both on this forum and other sites that say the Invo's are very sticky. I have read some speak of a sidewall flex too, while others have said it's no issue. I guess I'll find out myself very soon.

OP - the tire size you listed won't be a problem with your 275/30-19's as long as you stay with the 25 sidewall profile on the rears.

People on this forum have a love affair with Invos for some reason (likely because they have so many sizes that fit the corvette...285, 325 and 345). I have not personally had them, but have several friends who have.

The Invo is an OK all around tire in the 325/345 range simply because it's cheaper than the Super Sport and there isn't much else available now that the 345 Khumo XS isn't made (Can still pick up the remaining ones left though). Around 500rwhp and the 345 Invo would probably be ok for 2nd gear pulls.

The 335 NT05 is far superior.

Thanks for the input, I'll find out soon if these will work for my non-tracking application. I wanted to go with the Super Sports, but couldn't get the sizes to work for my set-up.

You mentioned the front tire size but not the brand/model. You should have matched tires front and rear.

Thanks for the input, I did order the Mich Sports. I do however love the tread pattern of the Nitto but dont think it will Road Course as well as the Michs. I dont drag race so hooking up is not huge on my list.
