Fan/s kept running???

Fan/s kept running???
Today when I got back from a drive and pulled into the driveway, I shut the car off (2010 GS manual) and the radiator fan/s (I think it was just the one) kept running. It was about 75 degrees outside and the a/c was on and the car was at normal running temp. After about 30 or 40 seconds I opened the hood and tapped on the relays (not sure the relay in question was under the hood) and the fan stopped. It was either a coincidence that the relay opened as designed when I tapped on it or tapping on it got it to open. I haven't had time to dig out the service manual to see if this is normal or if I have a bad relay. Has anybody experienced this? Any help would be appreciated.

I will sometimes shut off the car and the fan will wail for a minute or so after I shut the car off. It is rare when it happens, and usually when it is really hot outside, even though the temperature of the motor might not be excessively hot.

Thanks for the replies!! I've owned the car a year and a half and it's never done this before? If its normal that's fine. Always a little worried when the electronics are involved!
