i have a 2010 grand sport corvette and i am installing the ecs novi 1500 supercharging kit very soon. i am not sure what tires to go with. i should have around 570rwhp. my last corvette was a 2008 with the ecs supercharging package and i used toyo r888's. they were great but I'm wondering if there are better all around tires. i want tires that i can hook in the street with and also take to the drag strip and not be too concerned turning with. i hear the michelin ps2 are great also but i get steered away because they really aren't drag radials. please help me out. need advice. thanks.

Although I don't have the S/C yet, I am building the car to be ready for it. I did a lot of research and it looks like 18s on the rear with Nitto 555s are a great all-around solution for street and strip. I'm going that route.
Quite a few years back i needed tires on my 98 coupe. I hated the fact of putting Japanese tires on my American icon. This guy at TFT gave me an estimate on four Toyo T1Rs and a promise that if i did not like them, he would buy them back. After about two days, i loved them. I was driving down the highway, after a heavy rain, hitting puddles that would rip the wheel right out of your hand. Wet, dry, even in the snow they were great. I turned in that 98 on an 01Z06 and told the salesmen that i wanted new tires all around before i bought it. When i picked it up the dealer he told me to take down to there tire place and have all four replaced. That 01 Z06 had Michelin's all around. i saw the sales slip and the back tires alone where $500 a piece. I drove it about a month, than replaced them with Toyos at half the price.
There is no way any street tire will really HOLD 570rwhp.
MT ET streets if you actually want to put it to the ground.
I'm at 470hp and with nitto NT05 (non drag) it puts the power down, but just barely.
I agree that no street tire is going to hook with 570 rwhp. At 450 rwhp on my stock Z06, I can barely hook up(in 80 degree + weather) with my Bridgestone RE050A runflats. The OE Goodyears were useless.
