Odd that the C5 tube is 54 1/2" or 1/4" shorter yet the C6 wheelbase is 1.2" longer compared to the C5. I wonder if the engine is set back an 1" further behind the front axle center line in the C6....
Did the trans or diff become shorter in 09 then? Just wondering where that 1" was removed to require a 1" longer tube?
