Default Driver seat tilts back upon acceleration

I think this has been discused before but can't find it in a Search. I have a 07 1LT. My driver seat tilts back when I accelerate quickly. 5 year Warranty runs out in 3 months. Is this a simple fix or must I go to the dealership? Something tells me it's a plastic part in the seat rail.

Wow. That goes back to 2008. Managed to tighten the seat track bolts by a 1/16th of a turn. Will report back after the holiday. By reading this post, doesn't look good, back to the dealership. Worth the hassle to boost the re-sale.

I just lower my seat to the floor then raise it just a bit to get some support. Rocking can be held in check this way too. It is my preferred position anyway.

Since you are out of your base warranty they will charge you to replace the seat track if it is more than a loose nut. Seat tracks are not cheap. It isn't too bad of a job to replace it your self and you may be able to get a used one or at the very least get one at a discount from one of the forum GM parts vendors.

The seat track barely rocks since I re-torqued the 4 seat bolts. Not nearly as bad as before. Fix was too simple.
