Is anybody using Quaker State Ultimate Durability? I found it about 30% cheaper than Mobil 1 Extended Performance and is still dexos certified so I can use it in my 08. Anybody had any good / bad experiences with it?
I have heard nothing bad about it so I would say go for it.
When I was a teenager / kid-- EVERYBODY was slamming QSMO, cause they said it caused sludge - my dad used it in all his vehicles. He gave one of them to me and as a learning lesson I decided to rebuild the engine just for the heck of it-- cause I could- the engine had like 250-300 K on it- when I tore it down-- not hardly an ounce of sludge in it
Just an interesting little side story I thought I would share-- I know that your probably not going to get the sludge in a synthetic
