Help With Turning Off Map Lights Please

I know this sounds ridiculous...but I cannot turn off the map lights in my rear view mirror. Went to go for a short cruise this evening and upon starting the car they came on...and stayed on. I tried pushing the buttons underneath each light with no luck. Made sure both doors were fully closed and they were. I tried adjusting the light dimming switch and that doesn't work either. What am I missing? The car is turned off and parked but they are still on. Help!!

That same little dimmer switch/**** on the dash to the left of your steering wheel, push it in.

Only about 70% to 80% of C6 owners have done this without realizing it.

I've had a C6 for almost 8 years and did it about 6 months ago.

I was roughly 2 or 3 years into my C6 ownership when I too accidentally hit that button and couldn't figure out how to turn those damn lights off LOL.
