05 c6 reduced engine power ..help ???

05 c6 reduced engine power ..help ???

can drive down the road and it will cut off and say reduced engine power...pull a few relays and put back in or disconnect battery and it may crank back up and it seems to have a misfire (reduced power) ...ive touched both battery cables for 20 seconds ..didnt seem to help..any more help would be great

no..went to parts store..code is saying cam sensor so im doing that right now..

ok just took out cam shaft sensor and its pretty worn down on it kinda like something hott made an indention on it for about 3mm inside so i have new one be here tomorro ..just would like to figure out what made it wear down like that..05 20k miles
