C6 Loud fuel pump
Ive recently noticed that my fuel pump has started to have a noticable low hum/whine to it. I have an 08 coupe with 41k that I daily drive.. Verified it was the pump last night by priming the pump and hearing the whine. I seem to notice this on hotter days or after driving in traffic for a while etc. This morning in the cooler 60 degree weather the pump was silent and even after driving 15 miles to work still silent. Is this the norm with these pumps?
I know when I was running a walbro pump in my S2000 when I had that turbocharged, that I would have the same problem, but the stock pumps were always quiet.
