An exhausting question
I bought a chrome exhaust plate for my 05 C6, do you have to drop the mufflers to install the plate?
Or is there some way to sneak it pass the exhaust tips?

Good cause the only way I know that they wouldn't fit is if you were trying to drop it from the top!! (kiddiding)
I meant did you lift the car? Did you try to sneak it through sideways? These should fit with pretty easily.

Ok, here's how Idid it. You have to take out the 4 bolts that hold the mufflers up to the frame and force them aside then put the plate up were it goes, and at this point you need to have little mouse hands because there is NO room.
Once you get the bolts back in place to hold the plate it just takes patience, but it looks good when done.
