Drivers door problem caused by 90°+ temps
Now all that being said, when the ouside temperature goes down to about 85°, everything starts working again. This has happened multiple times and is repeatable. I am not confident in driving the car with our current stretch of weather (se pa) as I do not want to get caught with the windows down in a sudden storm or not be able to get out of the car/close the door with the windows up due to the index function not working.
Has anyone out there seen this temperature related problem? I realize it is probably either the drivers side DCM/DDM or the BCM but both are expensive and I would prefer not to do trial and error. I have already cleaned the connector between the drivers door and door panel and this did not help. I took apart the accordian tube between the door and the body but could not find the connector in that area that I read about in other threads. I also cleaned the two large connectors that plug into the BCM.
The car in question is an 06 Coupe 3LT w/z51 and m6 trans. I purchased the car last November so this is my first summer with it. No other problems to date.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey, there might even be some codes in the system right now that would point 'em in the right direction.
Or the shop could start using a hair dryer or such to "heat treat" various components. Don't overdo it, you don't want to create new problems.
Let us know...
Also, I have a pretty basic code reader that I will try tomorrow. I will post any codes I find.
