Transmission leaking
Hi everyone.... Went into the garage today to find out a little bit of fluid on the ground.... After taking the car to a friends lift and inspecting the undercarriage I found out the car have a small leaking coming from the transmission around the gasket. Dealer quote the job at around 1300 the car is a 2005 coupe with auto trans. Anyone had anything like this happen ? What was the fix ? Cost ? And do anyone know a gOod mechanic in central jersey beside a dealer ? Thanks

When mine leaked, I was lucky enough that it was just the transmission pan gasket had failed because of impact from something on the road. I replaced my trans pan in my driveway for only the cost of parts and new transmission fluid. It took around three hours and $100 worth of supplies.
