When I'm in too high of a gear and try to accelerate my x-pipe bounces off of the lip where the pan bolts to the transmission. Anyone else have this problem? What could I put on the pipe or pan/tranny to minimize the rattle?

BFH should take care of that.
If you are a little more tender you might want to try channel locks to bend it out of the way. I had to zip tie my springs on my xpipe, they were rattling on my car.
I made some adjustments and retightened everything from the headers back a few weeks ago. The springs were a PITA but I finally got them tightened back up. There's a lot less slop now (I could push on it myself to cause it to rattle), but I'll occasionally hear the rattle. I'm just wondering if there's something I can put between the pipe and pan that can withstand the heat.
I don't understand your problem man. The X pipe is only held by those 2 springs, other than front flanges and rear clamps. And the springs are sufficiently elongated they shouldn't make absolutely any noise. Where are they loose? Check the top fasteners to make sure they're tight. And if you tightened everything according to specs, they shouldn't ever move. When I replaced my '12 X-pipe for an '11, it was tight as hell. Good luck.

It's not the springs that are making any noise. That's what I thought at first but once I got under the car I realized that it was the x-pipe rattling against the pan. I have Kooks headers/x-pipe and they aren't centered like the original h-pipe so there's a much smaller clearance between the pipe and tranny on the driver's side than on the passenger's side.
After retightening everything I can't move it by hand, but I still get the occasional rattle and it drives me crazy and sounds like crap.
