Intakes?

speaking of intakes, kinda, I was cleaning my intake filter and the clip that holds the wiring onto the MAF senor itself is on the bottom. Is eveyones like that? My sensor wire is pointing forward which Im assuming is the right way to face so the air hits it directly but having the clip on teh bottom kinda throws me for a loop.

I'll have to look butt are you saying the opening that has the wire should be pointing towards the front bumper or towards the back of the engine. Thanks.
