1st Real Problem with my '07
So, leaving for the dealer this morning. AC system, a noise sounding like a bad bearing, on decel only at about 2500rpm or so. Hear and feel it in the pedals, gear shift, steering. Sounds like a bearing, so I'm hoping its the idler pulley. The belt appears fine but hard to really get a good look at it and I've got no way of getting under it till I get a lift in the garage some day. Yes, I turned off the HVAC and the sound went away. I'm 110k miles just for reference. Yes, I'll update when I get the answer. AC is working just fine as far as its performance so hoping and praying its not the compressor. This sound is like a moan sound with a bearing feel for the lack of a better description.

The word came back as the compressor is having a problem but still working. Another issue found is the harmonic balancer is wobbling. Just placed an order with Gene Culley at www.gmpartshouse.com for the two but will have to let the dealer do the replacements since I have no way of doing both of these.

I had a similar problem. A shudder associated with the A/C operation that you could feel in the clutch pedal. It turned out to be a very low refrigerant charge, even though the system still blew cold air.
