Correct LS3 Head Bolt Torque Sequence?
Ive looked at different vendors that have torque spec pdf's but some varried slightly. Does the below sound correct for stock GM head bolt installation for LS3 heads? The differences I noticed compared to the LS1 torque specs is the second and final pass angles and the fact that all the 15mm bolts are torqued down on the same passes whereas the LS1 has bolts 9 and 10 (out of the 10 15mm bolts) turned an additional 45 degrees after the final pass.
In the same sequence as LS1 head bolts,
First pass, torque the (M11) 15mm bolts to 22 lb ft
Second pass, turn 15mm bolts 90 degrees
Final Pass, turn 15mm bolts 70 degrees
Torque M8 bolts to 22 lb ft
In the same sequence as LS1 head bolts,
First pass, torque the (M11) 15mm bolts to 22 lb ft
Second pass, turn 15mm bolts 90 degrees
Final Pass, turn 15mm bolts 70 degrees
Torque M8 bolts to 22 lb ft

One at a time guys! Lol.
I found a 6.2L specific torque specs sheet. Seems to be from a GM manual. I post the pdf if I can this evening. Looks like the last two passes are 90* then 70*.
