Now you see why you need a catch can! That's oil residue.

Re-indexing the windows is needed for the auto indexing feature - when you open the door the window drops. And if you have a power convertible you have to re-index the windows or the top won't work.

Personally I'd get a MAP sensor at the dealer. It's one of the most important sensors in your car.

Lots of guys use the t-setup that you are doing. But if it'll fit on the back when you take the manifold off, that would work too.

What do you need those for?

My friend put them on his 623 rwhp H/C Z06 and had fits getting them to seal properly. You need to buy a kit to adapt it to the factory line and then you have to run a connecting line, buying AN fittings and braided line.

A lot more opportunity for leaks if you ask me (watching his experience). Why replace something that isn't broken. Plus you won't be able to run your fuel rail covers either so the engine looks sloppy unless you buy new valve covers and coil relocation kit...

^^^ Your money would be much better spend getting a cold air intake. That intake you have is sucking hot air...likely 150 degrees until you are at highway speeds and even then way above ambient.

A CAI will give you real power on that car that you will feel.

It's higher end, some would say prettier. They both do the same thing, allow ambient air into the engine.

None have real "ram air" effect. Don't believe that hype. I scanned my car at 180+ mph several times and can say that with knowledge.

But the cool air into the engine is real horsepower and is always my first mod on a Vette.

He sells both. Vararam might be cheaper. Both will work well. He will get back to you and buy with confidence.
