need a little help here. I'm currently deployed, but coming home at the end of August. It will be the first time driving my Z in OK. I've been told by some people that no stations sell 93 octane. I did a little research in the Lawton, OK area and only found 92 in 1 station.
Can anyone do a little research for me and find me a good station in Lawton OK for a fill up spot please.
Also, if any fuel I buy has 10% ethanol in it, is that bad or does it matter?

I live 1 hour away from any station that will sell 93* ethanol free gas. It's a shell station that sells it. Does shell sell any 50 gallon drums of 93* octane and deliver to homes?
Is your z modded? If not I would not worry about the whole 91 vs 93 thing. Shouldn't make a difference performance wise and isn't worth the hassle to get the 93.
Now if it is modded with a tune (higher timing), higher comp heads, or boost that is a different story. I have been in this same situation for a long time now. To make up for the 91 octane I have been running 12oz of fuel additive called Torco Accelerator. People in California run it with good success on high horse power cars. I my self have not had a problem so far.
Also keep an eye on the walmart gas stations. One by me just added 93.

My Z06 is stock and I use 93 octane ethanol free gasoline, which is available locally to me. When I have to use 91, I can tell a difference in performance and when I have to use 91 with ethanol, I not only lose performance, I lose gas mileage.
GM requires a minimum of 91 octane in the Z06/ZR1 but recommends 93 octane be used. The car's AFR is calibrated for 100% gasoline and when you run E10, the AFR is not correct for the E10.
I pay an additional 10 cents a gallon for the ethanol free 93 octane over 91 octane(E10 or pure gas) and it's more then worth it.

let me know please
Use the ethanol free 91 and when you have a chance to fill up with 93 ethanol free gas, do so.

Totally agree on the ethanol vs. non ethanol. I would say the performance gain in the "real world" is slim on 91 vs 93. At least slim enough it isn't worth looking for or getting a barrel for the garage.
