Replacement seats?
Use my Z06 for the track and the seats are terrible when the G meter starts to show some impressive numbers.
Any good replacement seats? Previously I have use Sparco seats in my cars which have been more race setup and would damage car impression.
Now I would like something that also looks nice and is somewhat comfortably when driving to and from the track (maybe adjustable).
Katech had some very nice in one of the cars I saw but the price of 6000Usd (if I saw correct) is to pricey for me.
Something like Porsches GT3 seats are nice.

Had one more follow up question. A good idea would be some sort of nice looking pull over cover with greater side support. You could drive the car to the track with regular seats and then just pull over some sort of cover with side support and thus create a racing seat. Guess that no such product exists tough.

There is something called Angel Wings that fits onto the seat bottom cushion and increases the bolstering a lot. Some people use sticky neoprene seat covers, but that grabs your shirt more than your whole body.
Not sure about the C6, but on my C5 I needed additional headroom for the helmet, so removed two of the little coil suspension springs under the seat cushion. That gave me an extra inch and also held me in a little better.
With the stock belts, are you using the "cinch" feature to lock the belts in place?

I have a buddy looking to sell some Corbeau A4's that have never been used. These are good looking seats that allow for a six point harness and are a good split between comfort and support. Here is a link to the Corbeau's if you care to read.

Other options that seem to be popular are Sparco, and Carraviggio with the latter being much more expensive. The Caravaggio seats will bolt on directly to the stock seat sliders and are very nice units, but will set you back $4500 or more for a pair. If your stock seats have side airbags, you would have to buy airbag suimulators to allow the rest of the system to work properly (this statement has not been proved, but at a minimum it will extinguish the light on the dashboard).

Here's how to use it:
1. Run your seat as far back as you can.
2. Pull seatbelt all the way out and buckle. Cinch feature becomes active and belt will only reel in, not out.
3. Pull shoulder belt as tight as possible across your chest, trying to get more material up into the reel.
4. Run seat forward to proper position.
Not as good as a 6-point, but far better than flopping around with the normal belt function.

They're Angel Pads, made by Angelwings Tech. They give you great lateral support and are a lot less expensive than new seats. The perfect choice if your Corvette is going to be more than a dedicated track day car.
