I've had a tender for many years, always used the spring loaded clips to connect, came with the quick connect that uses loops that connect / bolt to the battery posts, who uses this method? Any problems? If so do you just loop up this wire while not in use?
Tx Ken.
I used the ''loops'' on the install of my tender. I installed it under the hood. + to the fuse block on the extra + post located there. The neg onto the stud along side the valve cover. I ran an extention under the air bridge and down to the front of the air dam. That way I don't even have to open the hood to hook it up. works great.

I like the "no open hood option", thanks to both of you!
Car came with the CTEK, but don't like closing door over cable, or leaving door/window open every time, so installed a BT+ pigtail too. But I installed mine on the side gill (right side, obviously). Just need to stick 2 fingers right behind 'GrandSport', pull it down a little and connect it. To put it back up I rotate it half turn so it doesn't 'hang' when engine gets hot. Works perfect, and it's invisible. If I have the hood open (in summer), just connect it from the fuse box and engine bolt, like the decal says. My installation is practically invisible, and looks factory once you find it . Ground is on one of the bolts for the dry sump tank. You could also get the plug under the hood lip, by the wiper. Several choices. Good luck.
