Is the 2012 LS3 thermostat different?

The Mr. Gasket and Lingenfelter 180* stats are listed for 04-11 and 04-08 respectively. Do they fit the 2012 as is? I did a search and could find nothing definitive. Thanks.

Not even sure there is a 180 available. Don't want a 160.

I can tell you that I transferred my 2005 Tstat and housing over to a 2012 LS3 water pump without issue. Hope that helps, Sean

Thanks for the response. Info. found on a search of this forum said that the dia. was changed in '09 and the stat would not seal properly. Of course you changed the housing also. Anyway the Stant 15158 180* is listed for the 2011. I will see how that works out.

I put a 180 thermostat in my LS2 and there was very little change in the water temp. I installed a 160 and the car runs at 180 most of the time.
