Default Mild cam/ head recommendation

Looking for about 70 more HP and equal torque gain. Still needs to be very street driveable. LS3 6 speed with ARH headers already installed.
Suggestions?

you can call LG motorsports if you would like and they can help you out a lot. they do custom grind cams too if you want to suit your needs based on what you tell them you are wanting. they have great customer service

No need to upgrade the heads and I have done that on my LS3. It makes ~500 rwhp and 442 ft-lbs. The drivability is perfect and starts eveytime. I went through the twistys through the Texas Hill Country and this cam is perfect.

Katech LS3 Torquer....for the win.

The complete package has everything you need and feel free to ask questions

You are going have a difficult time making 70 rwtq more peak. What you will find is that the torque gain will be moderate as far as peak numbers, but the torque curve will hold far longer than stock. You may have 50-60 rwtq gain at 6500 rpm over stock with the right cam.

Sure and I ABSOLUTELY love the car post blower. The blower was fun and had it for 2 years. I was looking for bottom end torque for the twisty roads in TX. With a balanced car, the car is very predictable and corners very well. Here is the list of mods:

Katech Torquer LS3 Camshaft
PSI Single Valvesprings with Titanium Retainers
Trend 7.400" Hardened Pushrods
Katech C5R Timing Chain
LS2 Timing Chain Damper
ATI SuperDamper 10% UD Pulley
Kooks 1 7/8" Longtube Headers and are Black Ceramic Coated
Kooks 3" Catted X-Pipe
Stock NPP Mufflers
Taylor ThunderVolt 10.4mm Wires
Autolite Iridium Spark Plugs
VMax Spiral Ported Throttlebody
Halltech MF107R AIS with Beehive
Comp Cams Trunion Upgrade
Katech LS9x Twin Disc Clutch
CCW SP500 Wheels (18" x 10" and 19" x 11")
Stock Thermostat (186 degree)
Hinson Supercars Polyurethane Motor Mounts
Weighed in at 3,190 lbs with a 52/48 split with a 3/4 tank of fuel

The Vette has a nice lope and starts/drives perfect. No surging or bucking at any rpm. I will be hitting the hill country again today with some other Vette drivers and should be fun.

Default Cam

Do I need more than the katech cam alone? Thanks to all for the advice.

Brian, do you have the graph? I was considering the Katech torquer cam for the road course.

I have tuned a 2013 Camaro SS with the LG G6X3 Cam and it put down 505 rwhp and 462 ft-lbs. It turned out well and is a bigger cam. The Katech Torquer drives better and depends on how much cam you want.
