Default Fast 102 install

I installed my FAST 102 today, along with a Vararam CAI.
There ia a noticeable difference with low end response. I havent had the opportunity to stretch it's legs since Mods were installed,(holiday traffic), but I would say it's very promising. Have to re install my wide band sensor and re calibrate the MAF.
There was one hitch I encountered during the FAST install. The MAP sensor has 2 places it can be installed. The rear of the manifold or the front, on top near the TB.
Since the LS3 sensor was located in the front to begin with it was a no brainer. Now since either location, offered by FAST wasn't drilled through it didn't matter if you didn't use the rear. You won't encounter a vacuum leak regardless. The issue was FAST postioned the MAP Sensor in the front of the manifold in the opposite direction so the factory harness wouldn't reach. No biggie really. Had to lengthen the 3
wires for the MAP Sensor plug, a little soldering, used some shrink wrap and all was well. A little unexpected labor , but all in all relatively easy.
Well worth the investment, I think.
BTW I purchased the 102, the fuel rail adapter kit and new seals. No leaks, only gratification!
My prior setup was ARH 1 7/8 and an Attack Blue filter with a tune that netted me a 12.09 @ 117mph and a 1.93 60'.
I have a track rental I am attending in the near future at ATCO. I'll keep ya posted on any improvement.

Good news - you will love it. With AR Headers, ported Fast 102, ported throttle body, 180 Tstat, NGK plugs, K&N intake and dyno tuned I picked up 75 RWHP on my LS2.

John,
Is a retune needed for the fast 102? As you know, I was thinking of doing the fast instead of headers for my LS2 becuase I have heard you will pick up the same HP with the fast as you do with headers. And the fast is cheaper!

Rick,
I do plan on recalibrating the MAF once I put about 400 miles on it. Considering the Vararam and the 102, I will feel more comfortable putting the WB in and going through it to get the most out of the time & money I invested.
I had it on the Wantagh Pkwy tonite. I punched it from 60, and the *** came loose a bit. Then I hit from a dig and I spun the tires.
This car never broke the tires loose with a 2.73 gear. Between the mods and the new trans tune I put in it, I have a good feeling that an 11 sec. slip is waiting for me. I just hope I wont have to get DR's and wheels.
I'll let ya know Rick.

The plugs and the TB are the only things I havent tried yet. I have a 160* stat. This is going to be a bolt on only car. I'm not going to unzip it.
I am on the fence with the TB. I guess I want to get an idea where all this gets me first. What ET did you run in the 1/4?
