If you replace the diff mounts with, lets Pfadt ones, do you need to change the engine mounts to the same type as well?
I asked becasue I was told that if you don't and one is stiffer than the other, that it will put strain on the driveline becasue one end is stiffer than the other.
I don't know if I did it wrong, but I replaced engine mounts with Hinson poly ones and left the stock tranny mounts in. I figure that the stiffer engine mounts will keep the driveline more stable and the tranny mounts will still absorb and excess vibration.

Thats what I did. Poly mounts up front because the stock engine mounts are horrible and stock ones in the back to absorb shock from launching it.

Thanks!
I was thinking just the opposite. Stiff in the rear to stabilize the driveline and soft in the front to not make the car shake at idle becasue of the cam.
