Default found two leaks

I have an 07 w/ 28700miles. I've found an oil leak on the bottom right of the oil pan and tyranny leak on the same side. Is this common for these vehicles? I never seen any spots on my garage floor.

My 06 with 37K miles has no leaks, so I can't say that is common.

oil pan leaks are very common. I had mine replaced on my 07 at the end of the power train warranty period

Is it a tranny leak for sure, or could it be differential. It is somewhat common for the half shafts seals to leak. I've had to replace both sides on my 2005.

Smitty9468,

I'm sorry you have an oil pan and tyranny leak. Have you taken your Corvette to your local Chevy dealership to have this issue addressed?

Just dropped off the Bette at the dealership. Hope it doesn't cost me an arm and a leg.

If you are lucky, it might be just a matter of snugging up bolts. Better to check them first than to tear the whole thing apart for no good reason. I always try the simple stuff first. Some times you get lucky. Our 2005 is dry as can be. Knock on wood.

That's true. I snugged up mine a couple of years ago and my 06 is dry. Unfortunately you can't reach all the bolts, but I snugged what I could.

Got it back today from the dealership. They stated, no leaks but I was in need of a break job.

So where did they say the oil you saw came from?

Dropped mine off for same thing to dealer tonight. They took good care of the car and kept it inside last time when it needed a front wheel bearing.
Hope they pin poin and repair and not clean and add die and ask me to come back. Got to do what you need to I guess, going to just roll with it.
