Default 4 error messages and car won't start- experience?

My 2009 coupe, manual, 1LT, Z51 has been flawless until today. 23K miles. I went to the garage this morning and it was hard to start, got a dry solenoid click a few times, no error messages. I thought it may simply have been dirty posts but when I tried a fourth time it started. I drove it for almost an hour.

This afternoon, back in the garage, I tried to start it again, but I get four messages:

Service Traction System
Service Active Handling System
Service Antilock Brakes
Service Vehicle Soon

I took off the ground, reset it, same error. Both times this occurs the doors also cease to work, you have to pull the release to get out.

Obviously this thing needs to go in for service, but I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with these failures occuring at once. I tried using the search key.

Common issue? Any help greatly appreciated!!!

Although they look fine, I just cleaned the terminals. No change in the problem.

Bad car battery will give all kinds of error messages. I'd have someone who knows what they're doing check the battery first.

Battery reading 9.8 volts when it's sitting. Hopefully a battery will resolve this. In the AM it was charging 14.3 volts, but I suppose the battery wasn't taking it.

You need a new battery. It's a very common problem with C6. All the codes will disappear when the battery is replaced.

With all the stupid electronics, present since decades, you'd think that by now you'd only get one code when that happens: 'change the freaking battery'... but NOT. And it's the same crap with almost any other car. Now you know what the problem is . Good luck.

Sounds like the battery has a dead cell. Charging at 14.3 volts means your charging system is working. Battery should take care of the problem.

Put a new battery in it. 9.8 volts is essentially dead for all practical purposes. All the weird messages/codes are typical of a dead battery.

This is SO obvious...why even post question. You said it yourself, the battery reads 9 volts.

Look, I posted the question because I didn't get any battery messages, rather traction/brake warnings. As I was hunting around I found the battery reading and the helpful folks on here were posting at the same time to check that, too. Isn't it truly obvious I was reading the warnings and concerned about problems specific to them in my initial post and THEN saw the voltage reading? Are all your posts this helpful?

I'll answer for him.....Probably.

Get that new battery installed and give us an update, but I'm sure it will cure the problem.
