Default Clutch or Master cyc. or both?

Ok here is my problem. My clutch does not fall to the floor. It is just kinda spungy. Now I cant get it in gear. One person is telling me it could be the master cyc. another person is saying clutch. Also do I have to replace the fly wheel if I replace the clutch and the slave? I am at a loss here. This is going to cost me out the wazooo i know. Please help I know noone can fix it on the forum but some other peoples thought on the matter would be nice.Is it possible there is air in the hydrolics? would that cause my problem?

"Spungy" often indicates air in the system. You didn't mention any sign of a leak so how might air get into the system to the point of causing a problem? Did you work on it and maybe accidentally let some air in? Check for signs of a leak inside the car? Bad slave? Or bad clutch?

I think the guys here will need some more info to help narrow it down.

Sounds like air in the system. Then I'd work my way from the easiest to fix to the hardest. 1.easiest is the master cylinder. If that doesn't fix it then change the clutch and slave at the same time to avoid doing twice the work.

What did the fluid look like before you changed it? Was it dark brown/black? If so, you, may need to keep pumping that clutch pedal with the new fluid until it darkens up again, suction it out, refill, and continue the sequence until the fluid stays reasonably clear. In the process you will work out some of the air, if there is an air problem. If none of that helps then it probably is a master cylinder issue.
