I have a 2005 Chevy corvette, it's giving a component slippage code. Took it to my local dealership and they diagnosed it to torque converter or valve body. Paid them to install a new tranny. Same problem still same code. They don't have a clue about what's going on. They think it may have a rear end gear any answers? I think it may have been programmed wrong is this possible if the torque converter settings were changed?
So after this fix that didnt fix your problem, did you still pay full price? I had wiring and voltage problems recently. It ended up being a $300 fix at a local auto shop. The stealership wanted $8000 to rewire my whole car. They never bothered diagnosing the real problem. Replacing everything till the problem fixes itself is their only experience.
I dont know about your current problem. I would get some of your money back assuming that work fixed nothing. And find a quailty auto shop that has an idea what its doing. Dealership service should only be used under warranty in my experience. I have had what feels like every problem with my 05 and i havnt heard of this error code.

I would recommend you find a different mechanic if all your dealership is going to do is throw parts at it until the problem resolves itself. That'll get really expensive really fast (especially replacing major drivetrain components). If the problem was diagnosed as being related to the torque converter why did you replace your transmission and not just the converter?
Also, what mods do you have and what do you think was programmed wrong? Is all of this being done as a result of a DTC or are you experiencing actual symptoms; if so what are they?

Problem was resolved by programmer entering setup for a 3:08 gear. Instead of 2:73. Previous owner upgraded without programming. Thanks for all the help.
