I have an 05 Z51 Vert. MN6. I have been putting the OE Eagle F1 EMTs on it, but am getting sick of changing tires CONSTANTLY. I drive it a lot (13k this year), as long as the sun is out, which this year has been a lot. The Eagle F1's are about $400/ea. I know there are decent, less expensive options. Any suggestions? Have looked at Hankook, Michelin and Bridgestone. Thanks.
I have an 06 3LT LMB Mn6 Z51 Coupe with 28k miles on it. I recently went with the Firestone (which is really Bridgestone these days) Firehawks RFTs. Much better than the stock GYs - ride better, quieter, higher tread wear rating, and less expensive. I ordered them online from tire rack.
Note - I do not track the car; it is for fun driving on back roads. I do push it some......
06 Z51 running Michelin PS2ZP's and love them after going through three sets of Goodyear Supercars. The Michelins are far superior and seem thus far to be giving better tread mileage.

Our experience exactly. The Michelins PS2 runflats are much quieter, slightly softer, and much more progressive at the limit.
If you drive in cold/snow, or simply don't push the car hard; the michelin A/S runflats are cheaper to buy and last longer. But not as much grip in summer.
09 M6 w/ Z51 and I put the PS2 ZP's on also. They took some getting use to comming from the F1 S/C's but after 1k miles I really like them. They hook up a lot better than the F1's !!! My buddy has the firestone runflats and he is happy with them. I drove his car and I was impressed with them ! They are not PS2's but at half the price, I think I will go with them next time... Hope this helps
