I just discovered that when the keys to my 2007 C6 are nowhere near the car that the doors do not lock. A week ago they were fine. Any thoughts on what I need to do?
Disconnect the battery to reset them or ?
any help is appreciated. I guess I can look it up in the manual or on line but you guys have always been on top of it.
nothing has been to the car in the last week.
thank you for the thoughts. Yes, they were programed for automatic lock for the last 5 years. Batteries in fobs were replaced a year ago and they automatically locked after those batteries were replaced.
I will disconnect battery and try that and I will reindex the windows.
just odd that all of sudeden it does not lock. Would like to know what caused it to change.
Check and make sure the passive locking is still engaged, somebody may have changed ti on your car. Maybe add the horn for notification of the passive locking? That way you'll know if it didn't lock when you walk away.

you are correct. someone hit and held the lock button for three seconds thinking they reindexing the window. went to book and reset. simple, your idea for horn is a good one as i did not have that active. i will use horn for awhile so i know it is locked.
