Anyone here made slots in their OEM seats for harness pass-through?
I saw one that used Viper components, but it was real large and I'm hoping for something a little less in-your-face.
Wayne O, in Tucson, had some done awhile back. He drives up to Firebird quite often for road racing. If I remember correctly, he said he went to shop that does interiors. He is on the forum most days, so he will probably see your thread.

You're probably speaking of mine. Yeah, I would like something a bit more discreet but these fit pretty well and don't look like they were forced to fit in the seat.
And for the price, it's a good option (about $65 in parts per seat).
Nice. BK makes nice stuff.
Was the BK bar difficult to install?
Just curious... why didn't you go for the roll bar.
No, the harness bar wasn't too bad to install. Didn't do roll bar or cage because the wife still likes driving around town in the Vette from time to time. She knows that the car will be track only in the next year or two and a roll cage is inevitable... hope she isn't readin this, lol!
I read the link above and it does depend on which club you run with.
Higher run group drivers are generally required to have safety equipment.
The photo for the shoulder pass-throughs looks good.
Are there any requirements for pass-throughs for the lap belts?
Mine are for dragracing. The rules state 11.49 or quicker require rollbar, fire jacket, and 5-point harness. They let me run to 11.30 without question at one track and start getting stricter as I get into the 11.0x area. The harness goes through the race seat back , sides, and bottom, but I don't put it in every time I go to the track.
See, now there's the dilemma. I want a street car that can also be used on the track?
Problem is... does someone make a seat with pass-throughs that is comfortable on the street,
but has the shoulder and lap belt pass-throughs for the track.
The Sparco's and such just don't cut it for street use. Especially with the Mrs.
