Upgrade Consideration - Thoughts?
This is what I plan on doing:
Custom grind Comp cams
Cloyes Hex-A-Just timing set
Melling high-volume oil pump
Comp dual valve springs
Comp titanium retainers
Comp spring seats
PEP valve seals
Comp 3/8" pushrods
NGK spark plugs, all required gaskets, fluids, installation labor, and a custom dyno tune specifically for the car.
Long tube headers
high-flow cats
mufflers and polished tips
RHS intake manifold w/fuel rails
CNC Ported heads.
My goal is between 550-600 WHP.
I've been debating doing a super charger/turbo charger, but I'm torn right now.
Any thoughts/ideas and suggestions to improve this set up would be appreciated.

Unless you plan on adjusting your cam timing on a regular basis, then you are pissing money away on the Hex A Just.
Unless you plan on opening up the bearing clearances then you don't need a high volume pump.
Titanium work hardens, look into a lightweight steel retainer, everybody makes them, including Comp. If it's just a pleasure vehicle, them meh ....
If you are getting the heads redone, let the shop supply the valvetrain parts. It's generally cheaper to go that route and they can set them up properly etc.
