Default Looking for Clarification on common problems

I've been reading in the forums about problems many have had.
The ones I am chasing are;
-occasional stall at low rpm or when letting off gas. I have a supercharger so I may just need to take the car to a good tuner for this one.
-gas gauge not working until it hits about 1/2 tank full. Can someone clarify for me if this tends to be a sending unit or if the Techron treatment often fixes this one?
I plan to take my car to the dealer to look at problems 1 and 2 along with inspecting the brakes due to excessive rear end brake noise (pads are good). Rotors are okay.
Thanks for any comments or insight that might save me a few bucks at the dealer.

You haven't provided info on your car so......

Yea, the Techron trick "can" fix it in many instances but if the car is older, high mileage, etc. then you're probably looking at a new sending unit. Figure on 2 tanks of Top Tier gas with Techron. If that works, great. Make sure you only use Top Tier gas in the future. It isn't worth it to cheap out on off grade gas.

The stalling issue, I don't know. I suggest you talk to the guys in the Forced Induction Forum for the best advice.

Then you're much more likely looking at new sending unit, but try the Techron, it's fairly cheap and might work.
