Default CNC Spiral Ported TBs - Whose Got It???

Hey C6 brothers, I understand a lot of you guys have gone this route...

Seems like these have been offered about a year now and I want to get my TB ported and these appear to be very nicely done.

But, I haven't been able to find any real world reviews.

I understand porting mostly improves throttle response, but the original thread quotes gains of an avg 12-16 HP...

So, anybody got one that wants to share their experience?

Had mine done in my 05. I don't think it added any HP, but there was an appreciable difference in part throttle response.

I have had one for a couple months to go with my ported fast 102. Love the improved throttle response. I'm going to Dyno the car within the next couple weeks to see if there was any gain with the vmax ported tb & dual round tip mbrp axleback.

Thats about all any ported TB will give you and as far as putting a spin on the air, its pretty impossible since the throttle blade is at a right angle to the supposed spining air when its open. If there was no blade, it would work as advertised.

I wouldn't count on any power, but the throttle response should be nice for 100 bucks, or whatever porting costs these days.

I really wouldn't call it "porting" the opening cause its still 90mm's but they are cncd and from what I can tell throttle response is way better for 100 bux.

I installed a Vmax CNC ported TB on my ported Fast 102 as part of a package of other mods (Long Tubes Etc.). I don't know how much Hp the TB by itself picked up, but I do no that throttle response was much improved. The vendor for the TB suggested 3 to 5 Hp gain only.

Take blade out of the equation and yes, you might be able to spin (no pun intended) the air as advertise!
