Sticky tires
Hey all i have a 2012 a6 grandsport and i will b in the market for new tires and im wondering if i should go with the stock goodyears or something different. I have my eyes on the michelin pilot super sports, but im no expert when it comes to tires, the car is daily driven and runs on the track on sundays so i need something that will perform on both surfaces. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you are talking road course or auto cross ; Nitto NTo5's in the 285 front and 335 rear for GS vette, with Tread wear of 200 , work real good ; but will wear out faster than your Goodyears or Mich's.

The Pilot Super Sports transformed my GS. I kept facotry size on front and went 345 on the rear. I cannot tell you how much better the thing sticks and corners. The Goodyears slid out 24/7, were undrivable when real wet, and just didn't give me any confidence. Hell, my Rx8 could out handle the Vette.
With the Mcihelins on the thing is an animal. It actually understeers just a touch when pushed hard. Increases confidence and safety. I couldn't be any happier!
