Parking brake replacement help
Can someone please direct me to a "how to" on replacing the e-brake shoes I took off my rotors to check the life of the shoes because my e brake don't work and their worn out all the way-to the metal I ordered new ones but can't for the life of me figure out how to R&R

If you have the rotors off you've done the tough part. The "shoe" just kind of snaps off. Screw the adjuster all the way in and put the new one on. Hooking the spring can be frustrating, though. I don't understand why the old shoes were worn down. They are only engaged when the car is stopped- should never wear out. Search here or in the C-5 section for complete instructions- C-5 are the same as C-6.

People before me must of drivin on the e brake. It was paper thin in some areas and metal. The paper thin areas flaked off like dust it was horrible thank you for the link. I will be changing them out as soon as I'm do e with the paint job. Again thank you for the link I needed that
