Default Head and cam package.

I would like to do a head/cam/intake on my ls2. It's still my daily driver so nothing to crazy. I want to be able to go either way like forced induction or nitrous. But as of now I would like to make around 480 to the wheels. Right now I have headers an CAI. What do y'all think?
Or I have heard about just swapping the ls2 top to a ls3 top?

Check out my mods by bringing up my page. I put down 476 rwhp, through an A6. That was before my stall convertor was installed. So it's definetly attainable. I have an LS2. It's a lot of fun!

I would give Cartek Performance Engineering a call, they do it all and do it very well, heads & cam, forced induction, stroker motors etc.

If you're interested in forced induction why not just skip the heads/cam and go straight to the blower. It's no more expensive than heads/cam/intake and will make 100rwhp more.

I have thought about that as well. what about fuel pumps? and injectors? if i did do forced injection i would probably stick at 10psi

The supercharger kits come with everything you need. At 10psi you'd run your stock pump with a boost-a-pump and ~60lb injectors.

I've been running my car on 10psi for about a year now at ~600rwhp with meth and love it

I also suggest a blower if it's in your budget. Best bang for the buck by a long shot... and like already mentioned, you will easily see another 100+hp over a heads/cam package.

I'm at 636rwhp with an A&A kit and meth injection.

My LS2 has an A&A kit, headers and meth and makes 580 with 10psi. I picked up 200rwhp with the A&A kit and meth.

Mine is an ECS meth kit, made by Julio at alky control.

I too, come from a turbo world... (Had 3 Grand Nationals) Spent alot of time at www.turbobuick.com and I can assure you, they are BIGtime meth-heads. Probably one of Alky Controls biggest customers.
I was running 28-30psi of boost on 93 octane and a dual nozzle meth system.

A properly setup system will work seamlessly and will go unnoticed when you put the hammer down.

If you don't whoop on your car alot, the meth will last a long time.

I bought 5 gallons back in May of this year and I'm only a little over halfway into the jug.

My car made 381rwhp with a Fast 102 intake and LT headers.
I picked up 255rwhp by going to a blower and meth. The car is otherwise bone stock. Haven't even had the valve covers off it yet.

Now that the car is parked for the season... I will likely drop a cam in it and make a few other improvements to get the power closer to 700-ish at the rear wheels.

Another thing to note...

Keep your eye on the classifieds section here... and don't be afraid to buy decent used stuff. I saved a TON of money (several thousand) from shopping wisely.
