BCM and Shifter problem(any advice)
Hi guys awhile ago(6 mths ago) i ad a problem where my car would not shift out the park position. FYI my car is an auto. So i took it in to get fixed and they said it was the solenoid sensor. After fixing that it came back again a few months later and they said it was the brake pedal sensor and that it was broken so after replacing that. Now it came back again and now thier saying its the BCM (body control module) But thats like 800 to fix, too much if you ask me. I got my car back now until part comes in but now my car is working totally fine. lol What the heck do i do. Anyone else has had these problem please any insight would be appreciated.

First thing I'd do is tell them that I'd like a discount/refund for the previous two "guesses" they took that were wrong.
Then I 'd ask them why they think it is the BCM and not that actual solenoid.

they said they can do a goodwill waranty coverage of 25% seeing how this is my 3rd time. they said they phoned engineers back east and their the ones who said its bcm problem. so ill see how it goes.
ps already fixd solenoid, and they have about 3 hrs of diagnostic time into it.
