Default New Tire time for 19/20 combo, help

Got a base C6 and plan on putting the Ruff racing 954 wheels on it. They come in 19x9 and 20x10.5. I've been told that tires sizes should be 265/30/19 and 305/25/20 range. Problem is there is not many options out there. Has anyone tried the Hankook Ventus V12?
Or Nitto Invo?

I put Falkens on mine in those sizes and I am very happy with them. FK 452 I think.

I have the hankooks evo. 12 s In stock sizes and they are awesome. Rated number two behind Michelin PS2 s in car and driver and tire rack tests.

If I were to do the 954's. I'd go with the hankooks.

Congrats and let us know how you dig those new rims

Well, I got the rims today and they will not fit with the Z06 bb kit as I was told. I was planning on installing the bb kit but now I don't know what to do!!! Should I return the wheels and get tsw and the Z06 bb kit or stick with the ruffs and do the z51 brakes?? Damn I hate it when a plan falls to ****...

Are you planning anything where you really need the upgraded brakes?

Just an opinion but the z06 brake kits are in my opinion way too much coin for little improvement in performance. You asked for an opinion I'd just put on slotted rotors with new pads and call it a day. For street driving and even the track I'd say rotors are a throw away item.

If you are an individual who likes to see big brakes in the wheels? Well then return them if they don't fit.

I think the Ruff 954 wheels are sharp looking

I had a bad case of brake fade one time that almost killed me, so I like beefy brakes. That being said I really like these wheels. Might just do the z51 option.

Hey, what do you decided to do? I would also like to have these wheels. Are you sure the big brake from the C6 Z06 doesn´fit? Did you tested it?

Hm to bad! Very nice wheels so, and the price is awesome! I will most likely then go with the Forgestr F14´s in 19-20, not sure yet if black or silver.... and they do clear the big brake :-)
