Default "Stand up" passenger side windshield wiper?

Hey folks, quick question. I like to "stand up" the wiper blades to clean the glass or when I am replacing them. But, I can't for the life of me figure out how to get the one on he passenger side to stand up. I read the manual, but it only has instructions on how to remove the blade from the arm. Any one now how to stand it up?

Thanks,
Chris

It won't. It's made that way, so it won't hit the hood.

Last year, during the Q & A session of my Bowling Green assembly plant tour, I asked why the C6 passenger side wiper was made so we could NOT raise it, like we can on the driver's side and like I could on BOTH sides of my C5.........our tour guide could not answer the question and said it would be referred to an engineer who would get back to me by email. About a week later I did get an email and the response from the engineering area responsible for the wiper operation, told me that it was made that way because if it was up, and the hood was accidently closed, the hood would come into contact with the wiper and cause signifcant hood and wiper damage.........sounded like a BS answer to me, but that's what they gave me.

Also, someone mentioned that the passenger side wiper is cloer to the edge of the car and fairly easy to work on; the driver side is harder to reach.
