Excellent idea with a run flat, you can air up a slow leak and keep going as long as you need to find a repair shop; with no danger of damaging the tire from running it flat.
The C6 runflats are normally repairable (if the original damage wasn't too bad) if you drive less than 25 miles at less than 55 mph. Most people report that staying within the 25/55 limit leaves the tire repairable, a few have not.
If you need a new tire, C6 tires (runflat or not) don't grow on trees. Aside from the expense, you may be stuck for a couple of days waiting for a new tire to arrive if the original is damaged.
