I installed their X-pipe that's specific for the '06-'08 A6 with the sport exhaust on my '06 A6.

Not sure if there is any real increase in performance as I did them both at the same time, but I assume the overall sound/tone is affected.

Love the results, and total lack of drone.

I'll add this because it falls into the category of as long as your doing one thing you might as well............

Add an Elite Engineering Tunnel Plate with Thermal Abs.

This goes under the X-pipe and once that is out, access/install is very easy. What the tunnel plate does is stiffen the chassis (it's thicker) and significantly reduces the heat in the center console/car (it's ceramic coated and the "thermal abs" is a heat-reducing blanket).

Relatively inexpensive mod offering a very real improvement.

Purchased the X-pipe along with the Corsa Sport system. Figured WTH make it a true cat/back. Trust me, you will love it. At high way speeds you won't even know it's there. Paddle down to 4th and the Corsa system comes to life with a sound that will put a smile on your face, ear to ear. Shop around, I got a great deal on line with free delivery and a $100 gift card, i used to buy a set of Weather-Tech floor mats for $17.00, Free Shipping

I had the Sport installed w/o the x pipe on my 06 auto. Most advised that it was not necessary. I have no regrets.

In the 06 you have an OEM H-pipe which, when the mufflers flow freer, causes popping sounds. Installing the Corsa X-pipe reduces this a lot.?

Agree on doing the tunnel plate while H pipe is off. I felt it made the car more torsional rigid.

Don't waste your money on the x-pipe if you're ever going with headers.
