Rear end rattle spring bolt question
Should there be a 1/8-1/4 between the spring and the pad? The vet is on a ramp with normal weight on the suspension. Should there be a nut on top of the spring bolt also? I can not post attachments, thought I had enough posts to do that. I can email pics if you have the time to help.

The distance between the spring and the pad on the bolt will vary, as this is how corner weight is adjusted as well as ride height. There should not be a nut on the top side where the bolt comes through the spring.
