Default Porting a intake

Would like to port my intake and T.B..My question is.Did anybody also go with the bigger fuel line and cross-over tube?I have a Ls2 motor with long tube headers, cold air intake, and a mild tune, car runs 12.15-18.

Your fuel line and cross over will be able to handle the extra fuel requirements from the listed mods + ported intake and tb. Generally you need to upgrade the rails when you start going real big with forced induction.

I ran 600+ on my stock rails in my C5.

My stock fuel rail handled 822rwhp on my car and Andy from A&A also used it on his Z06 over 900rwhp.

I've got a VMAX ported LS2 intake if you're interested. Pete Incaudo does fabulous job on these. I swapped to FAST 102. The only caveat is that once you open one up like Pete does, you can't do any forced induction (Supercharged or Turbo) since your intake manifold pressures would be much higher in that configuration.

Porting the TB is a simple task. Remember to retune afterward, specifically the VE tables. Your system will be MUCH leaner with the increased flow efficiency, so you'll need to get your system balanced again for peak power and fuel efficiency.

Good luck, let me know if you're interested in the VMAX ported LS2 intake.

^^^ Generally a simple MAF adjustment is needed and not going as far as a VE tune.

RKT56 just started offering porting services and does excellent work. He just did a back to back dyno comparison between a stock LS2 and ported LS2.
