Standard upgrades for a street/track car (road racing) is headers, cam, cold air intake, and tune. Drag = forced induction and road racing = naturally aspirated, generally speaking.

Are you going to drag or road race the car? Do you have a local shop that specializes in either of these? I would stick with a shop that has a proven cam/headers/CAI/ tune that they know works.

Road course is what I plan on building for. I know what I need I just was wondering what you guys suggest as parts wise. I'm new to the corvette scene so I don't know all the places to look. I'm not sure what shop is going to do the work yet I'm trying to get all my ducks in a row before I take it somewhere

For headers I would look at LG or American racing. Get the 1 7/8th x 3 so you don't outgrow them.

Vararam or Halltech are popular CAI.

Cam I would stick with what your tuner knows!

160 or 180 thermo, depending on tuner preference.
